Stuart Band in the 1926 parade. Charles H. Rue was significant in organizing the Stuart high school and municipal bands. In celebration of the 1925 establishment of Martin County, the town of Stuart hosted a series of events on 28 and 29 January 1926, including a large parade.

St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Stuart Florida. This building was originally the first church in Stuart (built in 1895) and was moved to Third Street in 1932 (steeple removed). In 1950, the church moved to a new building.
