Photograph may have been taken when President-Elect Herbert Hoover (on left) visited Florida in February of 1929 and took part in an inspection of the Everglades region and Lake Okeechobee after the 1928 hurricane, which devastated the area. The F.E.C. railroad station in Jupiter. The station closed in the mid-1960s, then moved to become a private residence in Tequesta. In 2012, it was moved to Sawfish Bay Park in Jupiter. -

The F. E. C. railroad station in Hobe Sound. The structure has been relocated to multiple locations since it stopped serving as a train station since the 1960s. Since January 2025, the Hobe Sound railroad station resides between Mercury and Venus streets, near the neighborhood of Zeus Park in Hobe Sound.
