Harriet Bedell spent her life serving as a missionary to several Indigenous American groups in the western U. S. and in Alaska. During her retirement years, Bedell administered to Seminole Indian groups living in the Everglades. Photograph was previously included in an album belonging to Adele Willoughby. -
