  • Small Mediterranean Revival style house built in 1924 for Ralph W. Hartman Sr. and wife Mary McDonald Hartman. Mr. Hartman was Postmaster of Stuart between 1934 and 1958. Mary Hartman was the Society Editor and a reporter for Stuart News and wrote for other newspapers as well. Poor quality copy.

  • A. Feit (member of the American Art Appraisers Association, antiquarian and art dealer), Mary McDonald Hartman (1902-1969), and Mrs. George Conrad (Stuart Woman's Club committee members) stand next to the Lady Abundance fountain. The fountain was sculpted by Manya Konolei, donated by the Stuart Woman's Club to the City of Stuart and installed on the courthouse lawn in 1949. It was later placed in Haney Circle in 1991.
