Jackson H. McDonald (1900-1939) with luggage. Handwritten on back: "Clothes ready to be shipped home. Good Bye!" After graduating from Stuart High School in 1918, McDonald attended University of Florida and was a member of the Army Reserve. -

Chisholm's Grill advertising card, c. 1935
Chisholm's Grill opened as a hamburger stand on Old Dixie Highway in 1927 by William and Anna Chisholm. It was a very popular restaurant until it closed and was replaced by Meadows Restaurant in 1955. Several other establishments were opened in other cities, including West Palm Beach and Tampa. The card advertises the restaurant and also includes a chart of distances between Florida cities. -
