"Alligator Joe," Warren Frazee (1873-1915), ran a tourist attraction in Palm Beach, consisting of a large collection of reptiles, turtles, and birds.

Postcard sent from a Stuart visitor with the initials G. B. S. and mailed to Dorothy Alwood in Morgantown, West Virginia. Of note, G. B. S. writes about the Ashley Gang robbing a bank at 10:30 AM on Tuesday and making off with $4,500. The Ashley Gang did in fact rob the Bank of Stuart of $4,200.35 on (Tuesday) 23 February, 1915. -

Arbuckle Bros. advertising trade card, c. 1893
Advertising trade card for the Arbuckle Bros. Coffee Co, card No. 12. According to statement on the card "This is one of a series of fifty (50) cards giving a pictorial history of the United States and Territories." A few tidbits of Florida history on the right side of the card include the mythic tale of Ponce de Leon's search for the Fountain of Youth and a brief mention of the Seminole and Civil Wars. The left half of the card is an advertisement for Arbuckles' Ariosa Coffee.
Illustrations on the front of card titled "Fighting the Seminoles in the Swamps (1835-42)," "Spaniards in Florida" and the "Old Gate at St. Augustine." -

Advertising trade card for the Arbuckle Bros. Coffee Co, card No. 59. On the front is a Map of Florida and the adjoining states of Alabama and Georgia. The images around the map includes a bunch of oranges and a Florida resort. The front also gives the sq. miles of Florida as 58,680 and the population as 269,493.
On the back is an advertisement for Arbuckles' Ariosa Coffee and a description of the trading card series. -
Arrival and unloading of a Turtle Boat, c. 1935
Piles of turtles on their backs on a boat and on dock. Caption: "The only cannery green turtle soup in the United States is in Key West, and its products are exported all over the world wherever epicures congregate. The turtles weighing 300 to 400 pounds are caught in South American waters and penned in 'crawls' and they gaze with stoic calm at the strange people who come to look at them."
