City Park, Stuart, Florida, c. 1935
View of City Park, which was located between Flagler Avenue and Osceola Street in downtown Stuart (where the Pressel Building, built in 1940, stands in 2023). The Park has two chickee style pavilions with wood benches and tables under them. A few people are sitting on benches and several others are playing shuffleboard. -

One wing houses a dozen Americana "shops" brought from Salem, Mass. There is a wing of contemporary paintings and sculpture. The Gracious Living Wing is the newest addition and depicts an era from 1880 to 1910. Open daily, Admission charged." -

Frances Langford Outrigger Restaurant dock, c. 1985

The Outrigger Resort and Restaurant was sold in 1988 and became The Key West Restaurant. The Key West Restaurant did not stay in business for very long and the building sat unused for many years until it was renovated into the Dolphin Bar and Shrimp house which opened in the year 2000. -
