The Panacea Cats created by Rick Geary advertise National Postcard week (May 2-8) and a move to Hobe Sound in 1999. The back caption reads "Button and Pongo wave good bye to Missy and O'Bear as they move from north Florida to Southeast Florida. The dog and cat belong to Lynn and Sandra Pattillo who live in south Georgia. Their children are Brandy, Patrick, and Brianne. Sandra is daughter #3 of Bette and Elmo Mays." -

Railroad trains Nos. 813 and 10, c. 1970
Two locomotives. Caption: "No. 10 was one of the two ancient 4-4-0's used in the construction of the 'Overseas Railroad' or 'Flagler's Folly.' This Schenectady engine built the road along Key Largo to Long Key. Then it was barged to Marathon to continue the road from Key Vaca. By contrast, heavy mountain types like 813 hauled freight on the 'overseas' during its last prohibition and depression years. Rev. Albert Stake and Seminole Indians, c. 1915
Group portrait with Rev. Albert Stake and several Seminole men and women. Rev. Stake, a Creek Indian from Oklahoma and missionary Baptist preacher, started coming to the area around 1913 to spread Christian teachings to Seminoles in Indiantown. Stake continued his missionary work intermittently through 1920.
