Planters Security Bank in Jensen. The bank was founded around 1894 to serve pineapple farmers in the Eden area. The bank failed around 1908, leaving many depositors empty handed until a decree from the state comptroller awarded 14 and half percent dividends to be paid out to those that lost money, but this was not until 1929.

Postcard addressed to Miss "Florrie" Kitching and originally addressed to Sebastian, Florida, then forwarded to Stuart. Florida Kitching was born in Sebastian in 1884. Florida moved to Stuart, following her brother, Stanley, likely around the time the postcard sent in 1907 when Florida was around 23 years old.
