Portrait of Fred Walton. Frederick James Walton (1907-1987) graduated from Stuart High School in 1928, a star athlete. In 1936 he became a patrolman in the City of Stuart and became the Chief of Police from 1940-1941. -

According to the Stuart News (8 Mar 1956), there was a break in at Ted Jones' gun shop on March 4, 1956. The robber broke the store's front glass windows and stole a colt revolver. Shop owner, Ted Jones, kneels on the left. -
