Seminole Bank founders, 1924

Other businesses in the building include Saint Paul Insurance, Dr. Graham M.D., and Hogarth Insurance.
Built in 1912 to house the Stuart Bank (301 St. Lucie Avenue), Stuart Bank moved across the street to the Fuge Building in 1921. The Seminole Bank leased the first floor, opening 2 April 1923; it closed in 1929.

Portrait of Fred Walton. Frederick James Walton (1907-1987) graduated from Stuart High School in 1928, a star athlete. In 1936 he became a patrolman in the City of Stuart and became the Chief of Police from 1940-1941. -
