The Okeehumkee on the Ocklawaha River, 1901
The Okeehumkee steamboat travels along the Ocklawaha River in Florida. Outfitted with a recessed stern paddle wheel, the Okeehumkee was able to navigate narrow and shallow waterways. The steamboat was built in 1873; it became known as the "Queen of the Ocklawaha River" and remained in service for 43 years. -

The Prow Brothers presented "life-motion animated pictures produced by the cinematograph" in Tallahassee in 1901. -
