George W. Parks General Merchandise, c. 1905
Description
Man stands outside the George W. Parks general merchandise store (in 2023 Stuart Heritage Museum), built in 1901, which changed its name to Stuart Mercantile in 1913. The open veranda on the second floor was enclosed in 1910. Also visible is the railroad crossing and "Look out for the cars" signs.
