Streets during hailstorm, 1934

Item

Title

Streets during hailstorm, 1934

Description

Cars drive along a road along the railroad tracks and man pushes a bicycle. On February 10, 1934, a massive hailstorm dumped icy rocks all over Stuart and Palm City, Florida. The hailstorm was so large that it covered the old Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart, making it look like a snowstorm.
