Description
Photo published in the April 4th, 1963 edition of The Stuart News. The Martin County Sheriff's Department radio tower fell, nearly hitting several young scouts in the street, after their camping trailer hit one of the guy wires holding the tower in place. Deputy Sheriff, Ray Heisley, witnessed the event and shouted a warning to the boys to clear out of the way of the tower as it fell. The aforementioned Sea Explorers (Ship 405) camping trailer and scouts, Martin County Courthouse, and Stuart water tower are also in view. Poor copy.
