Groundbreaking ceremony, 1963

Description

John Sadler, Pierce Mize, and Arthur Ruhnke participate in a groundbreaking ceremony. John Sadler financed the construction of a commercial building on Colorado Avenue in downtown Stuart. The building was finished in late 1963 and originally housed Behr's Jewelry and Gift shop and Fashionette Beauty Salon, as well as a barber shop and a paint and appliance store.
