Oteen Groves produce stand, c. 1950

Description

Oteen groves roadside produce stand and packing and shipping house with several automobiles parked in front of it. The Oteen Grove produce stand was located on U. S. Hwy 1, approximately one mile north of Stuart during the 1950s. The Oteens moved from Fort Pierce in about 1949 and opened the produce stand mainly to sell the fruit grown on their 60 acre grove in St. Lucie County.
