Stuart Hardware front window display, 1954

Front window of the Stuart Hardware store with banner reading "It's irha Hardware Week/Advertised in the Saturday Evening Post/Come in and Save! April 16-24." Sticker on window identifying store as a member of the irha organization, which describes itself as "A Nation-Wide Association of Retailers Pledged to Service-Quality-Value." Photo likely taken in 1954 because the dates of April 16 through the 24th correspond with the dates for the Hardware Week held in 1954 (previous and subsequent years had different dates).
