Description
Maurice Pierre Payette, Jack Penhale, and Matt Gindorf stand next to a truck on Osceola Street. Commercial building and additional automobiles visible in the background. Payette and Gindorf moved to Stuart from Chicago and opened Rae-deo Electric Company. After the untimely death of Gindorf (at the age of 41), Payette kept the business running but eventually closed the electrical business in 1945 and started a fishing business in the Port Salerno area until selling that business in 1949. Penhale was born in Cornwall, England and lived in Stuart for 22 years, working as a painter.
