Item
Title
Children in front yard, 1962
Description
Several children stand in the front yard of a house next door to Thompson's The Sixpence gathering building (located at the corner of Lake and Spruce Streets). Two girls sit close to the house and other children and a dog gather near the corner fence area of the yard. A partial view of a car driving on the street also in view and a couple of children are in front of the Sixpence building in the background. These buildings were demolished by the city in 1962 to make way for the housing authority buildings between Church and Lake Streets.
