Item

Title

Children in front of Thompson's The Sixpence, 1962

Description

View of houses on a dirt road. One girl is seated and another young girl in a dress stands next to her in front of a house, other children are lined up nearby. Next door is "Thompson's The Sixpence," a gathering place founded by the Thompson family. A sign identifies Lake Street on the corner. A dog lays on the ground between the two buildings, Royal Crown Cola and Sun Crest Beverage advertising signs hang outside of the Sixpence building.
