Aerial view of Sunrise Inn & Club in Stuart with the St. Lucie River and many boats docked in front of the inn. Many flags line the dock area and many trees can be seen covering the land behind the inn.

The back caption reads "Sunrise Inn & Club, Stuart, Florida. Sailfish Capital of the World, 35 miles north of Palm Beach. Located opposite Buoy 14 on the Inland Waterway. Private Ocean Beach, pool, tennis, golf, cottages, apartments. Owned and operated by Essex & Sussex Hotel, Spring Lake, N. J. Fred F. Schlock, Manager. Telephone (305) 287-3111."

The Sunrise Inn property was owned by Hastings Square Hotel Co. (president Fred S. Shock), which also owned Essex-Sussex Hotel at Spring Lake NJ, between 1963 and 1972.
