Description

Advertising trade card for the Arbuckle Bros. Coffee Co, card No. 12. According to statement on the card "This is one of a series of fifty (50) cards giving a pictorial history of the United States and Territories." A few tidbits of Florida history on the right side of the card include the mythic tale of Ponce de Leon's search for the Fountain of Youth and a brief mention of the Seminole and Civil Wars. The left half of the card is an advertisement for Arbuckles' Ariosa Coffee.

Illustrations on the front of card titled "Fighting the Seminoles in the Swamps (1835-42)," "Spaniards in Florida" and the "Old Gate at St. Augustine."
