Description
Damaged or destroyed boats after hurricane. The Bailey Boat Company, led by W.L. Bailey and his family, was established on Indian River Drive in Jensen Beach in 1949. Later that year, the hurricane destroyed the business; by 1952 the boat yard was called one of the "most outstanding yachting enterprises in South Florida" by the Stuart News.
