Description
Mary and Uriah 'Elias' Simmons pose next to an automobile. The Simmons became Palm City homesteaders around 1890 when they came to the area from Ohio. Elias learned the craft of boat building from Hubert Bessey and beekeeping from Col. O. O. Poppleton.
