Description
Ethel, Jeanette, and Harold Coutant sit on the front steps at the Mosquito Lagoon House of Refuge (Volusia County). Their mother, Louisa Coutant stands to the right of the trio. Elwin Coutant worked as the keeper at the U.S. Lifesaving Station at Mosquito Lagoon from 1890 to 1912, when the family moved to Stuart and started a print business.
