Description

George Quarterman and wife Annie Stewart Quarterman. Quarterman took charge of the U.S. Coast Guard Station No. 204 when the U.S. Coast Guard was formed in 1915. His uncle, Orlando Quarterman, directed the Chester Shoal House of Refuge previously.
