Carver Gardens building, 1970

Description

Classroom building at Carver Gardens Elementary School. Later moved to Murray High School and used as the band building. In 1961, students of the Salerno Colored School were transferred to the Carver Gardens Elementary. In 1964, an addition was made to the school, and it became Murray High School. The students at Carver Gardens Elementary attended East Stuart Elementary.
