Description

On 30 July 1968, John DuBois found the body of friend Vince "Trapper" Nelson at his home. These public records detail the investigation of the death by Martin County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Bureau of Law Enforcement. Includes the sheriff's report (30 July 1968); Florida Bureau of Law Enforcement witness reports of Slater Grove, John DuBois, Phillip Celmer, Joseph Vlcek; transcription of the Corner's Inquest and verdict, including testimony of John DuBois, Joseph W. Vlcek, Tony M. Merulla, Joseph P. Farrell, P. A. Lund, Thomas H. Daly, Pat J. Snow Jr., and Dr. Leon W. Powell; Florida Bureau of Law Enforcement laboratory report; and Florida Bureau of Law Enforcement summary report.

During interviews and the coroner's inquest, several people detail what they know about Vince "Trapper" Nelson and review their relationships with him, their impressions of his state of mind and his financial situation. His death was determined to be by suicide.
