Ebb Tide Court, c. 1965

The Ebb Tide Motel in Jensen Beach. Tony and Ann Milazzo opened the four unit motel in 1954. The motel was purchased by the Frank Kuper family in September 1956. John Hughes took over ownership in the mid-1960s and expanded the motel with a new building housing eight additional units. Around 1979, Roy and Margaret Nuttall began operating the business as a motel and apartments.

Caption on back of postcard reads "Overlooking Indian River (Intracoastal Waterway) and marina. One bedroom efficiencies, TV, air conditioned and electrically heated. Owned and operated by John & Mary Hughes."
