Aerial over the Pine School, 1971

Description

Aerial view over the Pine School in Stuart. The Pine School, located at East 10th Street, first opened in September 1970. The school became affiliated with St. Mary's Episcopal Church and its name was changed to St. Michael's School in 1975. In 1994 the school became independent again, changing the name back to the Pine School in the early 2000s. Eventually the private preparatory school expanded with a campus in Hobe Sound and in 2015, the Stuart campus relocated to the Hobe Sound area as well.
