Portrait of a couple in front of a Christmas tree as they exchange gifts. The couple may be Rev. Valorous Lloyd Clear (1883-1958) and Hattie Cockley Clear (1884-1968). The Rev. Clear and his wife, Hattie, were the parents of Zola Swarthout (1906-1967) and Charles Val Clear (1919-1966) and became winter residents of Jensen Beach in the early 1950s.
