Description

Memphis Queen stern wheeler on the St. Lucie. The Memphis Queen was originally built in 1840 and rebuilt in 1928. According to the Stuart News (01 Sep 1955), the ship passed through Palm City and Stuart bridges then docked at Gulf Marine Service for a time, before heading to Miami for remodeling.
