Published in the Stuart News (10 Mar 1955) with the caption: "This is the scene of the tremendous improvement completed Saturday on the five blocks of Colorado Ave. from U.S. 1 (in the distance) up to the railroad crossing on 4th St. and for 100 yds each way on A1A from the crossing. Note the new crossing signals which have been installed to take care of the crossing which was doubled in width.
