Description
Boys line up to board a bus for a fishing trip. Bus driver and another man stand with the boys. At least two of the boys carry fishing poles and sack lunches.
Published in the Stuart News (15 July 1954) with the caption: "Nine local boys left here Sunday morning for a week's camping at Lake Eaton in Ocala National Forest. They are members of the new Junior Conservation Club here, and the camp is operated by the State Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission. Shown about to board the bus are (left to right) Douglas Stewart, Tommy Christopher, George Thomas, John Hamison, Billy Christopher and Jerry Randolph. Three already aboard and not shown are Arthur Dehon Jr., 'Bud' Stephenson and Ernest Higbee Jr."
