Description
Postcard of large building on manicured lawn. Label: "Tuckahoe - on - the - Indian River. Sewall's Point, Stuart, Florida. Home of Mr. and Mrs. Willaford Ransom Leach." The building was built in 1938 for Willaford Leach, and sold in 1950 to the Catholic Church for the Sisters of St. Joseph. From 1972-1986 the building was owned by the Florida Institute of Technology.
