Title
Happy catch of largemouth bass, 1955
Description
Published in the Stuart News (10 Mar 1955) with the caption: "Guide Bill Abbott and bass fisherman Lyman Barr grins of satisfaction over a beautiful string of Florida largemouths they caught last Thursday on Silver Flash Super-Dupers in C-23. The four biggest bass ran an even 5 lbs. each. Barr is from Highland Park, Ill. A guest at the Pelican, he has been fishing Stuart waters for the past two weeks. This photo was taken when the pair invaded Stuart Tackle Shop, ostensibly to buy some more lures but really to turn other fishermen given with envy."
