According to Joe Crankshaw, The Tale Twisters Riding Arena was built next to Jack James' farm and ranch supply store on Indiantown Road. The Tale Twisters Saddle Club was formed in 1958 and dissolved in 1965, changing its name to "Rusty Riders Spurs Rodeo Club" and limiting membership to local riders.
