Utility vehicle in the woods, c. 1950

Utility vehicle parked in a wooded area. According to several articles in the Stuart News, this and other similar vehicles were referred to locally as "woods buggies" during their heyday from the late 1940s through the mid-1960s. Many of these vehicles were converted trucks or older automobiles, like the Ford Model A.
