Description

Smoldering remains of a plane crash on the railroad tracks at A1A, near Witham Airfield. Several people survey the crash site.

On January 9, 1964, a plane crashed into a truck driving near the train tracks on A1A, near Martin County airport (Witham Field). Two men spray water towards the crash site on the railroad tracks. Cars backed up along the road beside the crash and a crowd watches from the background.
