Pioneer Classroom with two teachers seated at desks on one side of the room and a long table with a third teacher and several students reading or working on craft projects or games at the center of the room. The Pioneer Class was a school for children with intellectual disabilities in Port Salerno. The school's name was changed to "Pioneer School" in September 1963.
