Studio portrait of George Parks, Jr., native son of Stuart. Parks' pioneering father started a Gulf Oil Corporation distribution business in Stuart during the early 1900s. Parks Jr. and his sister, Anita Parks Morrison continued operation of the family business for many years. He was also the Acacia masonic lodge master in 1950.
Lee Higbee was the Acacia masonic lodge master in 1949. He was on the local school board and owner of Lee's Hobby Center and also worked at Higbee Electric.
John N. Mann was the Acacia masonic lodge master in 1944. Mann was Stuart Fire Chief (1942-1956), City Commissioner, and merchant. He also managed the baseball team Stuart Sailfishers and was the "unofficial greeter" for the city.
Arle Stuart was the Acacia masonic lodge master in 1941. He was an oil distributor for 26 years, managed a service station at the Stuart Auto Camp, and served as mayor of Stuart in 1949.
Ralph Ulmer was the Acacia masonic lodge master in 1939. He owned and operated Ulmer Motors on Old Dixie Highway between 1939 and 1968. He was also the plant engineer for the Stuart Ice Company.
