In celebration of the 1925 establishment of Martin County, the town of Stuart hosted a series of events on 28 and 29 January 1926, including a large parade, shown here on Flagler Avenue. Float with paper-mâché horses is from the Golden Gate Development Company. Also visible is the St. Lucie Auto Camp and the Stuart Transfer Co. floats passing by a hot dog stand.

F.M. Walton float, 28 January 1926
In celebration of the 1925 establishment of Martin County, the town of Stuart hosted a series of events on 28 and 29 January 1926, including a large parade. Fred M. Walton was a contractor in Stuart who built the Lyric Theatre, El Bit-Lor Apartments (whose likeness is the basis for this float), and the France Apartments.
