The art deco style building was first built in 1938 for the Citizens Bank of Stuart (later First National Bank of Stuart). The building was expanded on the left in 1949. The building was renovated in the 1990s and became the Jolly Sailor Pub in 1992. Duffy's Sport Grill replaced The Jolly Sailor in 2003 and as of 2026, continues to occupy the building at this location.

As of 2026, the building at 18 Seminole Street is occupied by an Italian bistro.
