The check represents a $75 reward to Murphy from Florida Citrus Mutual for police work leading to the arrest and conviction of two men who broke into a house at citrus grove near Indiantown. This is the second time in the last year that Murphy has received rewards from Florida Citrus Mutual.
Staff members Laura Murphy and Bruce Pinkman. Murphy retired from the Sheriff's office in 2004 after 32 years, having filled many positions, including secretary, dispatcher, road patrol, detective, and courthouse security. Pinkman served 26 years at the MCSO.
Deputy Sarah Marich, Martin County Sheriff's Office first female road patrol officer. Marich served in the Sheriff's Office 1967-1970, 1973-1982, and 1985-1999. During her time, she was on road patrol until 1987, when she became a detective. Very low quality print.
