                <text>Built in 1917 by Pennsylvania businessmen after moving the smaller Tyndall house "El Nido" to the side. Purchased in 1925 by Otto and Katherine Schaum. Sold in 1936 to Leonard Fillmore Knowles; however his secretaries, sisters Elsie E. Harrington (b. 1885) and Maude (b. 1892) lived there year round as caretakers and at Knowles' death, he bequeathed the property to them as it became known as "Harrington House." After their death, the property was not occupied and became abandoned.&#13;
