<text>Works Progress Administration's Historical Records Survey Church Inventory Forms 1939-1940 for Martin County churches, with introduction, "Brief History of the Florida Church Archives Inventory." (Florida Memory)

Forms include self-reported information about each church, including location, race of membership, date organized, denomination, and description of current records. Some entries are free written histories rather than forms. Also available (as well as other counties) online at https://www.floridamemory.com/discover/historical_records/churchrecords/

Note: These forms are the history of the church, not necessarily the church building. "Const'd" probably means "constituted" (i.e. when the congregation was organized), not "constructed."
