                  <text>Morton H.C. "Mort" Foster Jr. (1922-2005) worked as a linotype operator at the Asbury Park Press in Indiantown and at the Southeastern Printing Company. He was also an accomplished photographer, with many event photographs and portraits printed in local publications, including the Stuart News. &#13;

His wife, Katherine Foster (1922-2006), taught first grade at both J.D. Parker and Jensen Beach Elementary Schools; many photos in this collection include student activities. Foster was a long-time member of St. Mary Episcopal Church in Stuart and Point Pleasant, a member of Martin County Country Club, and Martin Memorial Auxiliary.</text>
