He was also an accomplished photographer, with many event photographs and portraits printed in local publications, including the Stuart News. &#13;

His wife, Katherine Foster (1922-2006), taught first grade at both J.D. Parker and Jensen Beach Elementary Schools; many photos in this collection include student activities. Foster was a long-time member of St. Mary Episcopal Church in Stuart and Point Pleasant, a member of Martin County Country Club, and Martin Memorial Auxiliary.</text>
