According to The Stuart News (Sun, May 05, 1974), the seminar was held as a complement to the Indiantown wastewater treatment plant dedication and both events were held on May 3, 1974. The seminar discussed the Sonozone process developed by scientists at University of Notre Dame and utilized by the newly dedicated Indiantown plant. The Sonozone process for wastewater sanitization utilizes ultra-high sound frequency and ozone to remove bacteria and viruses. -
